Resubmitting I Have Love For You In My Heart

>I have love for you in my heart.
By Stanley Russell Harris (TmA)

I have love for you in my heart.
Why did you break it? Break my heart.
You know my love can never die.
Why did you cheat? Why did you lie?

I’m lonely, but I know you’re there.
I close my eyes, and you’re still there.
I have love for you in my heart.
Why did you break it? Break my heart.

I know you had, to work away.
I should have gone with you, not at home stay.
That’s how you wanted it that first day.
You said nicely, ‘I’d be in the way.’
I have love for you in my heart.
Why did you break it? Break my heart.

I wait for you every day.
The house is set out, as you did say.
Will you come back and with me stay?
 And never, ever go away
I have love for you in my heart.
Why did you break it? Break my heart.

Will you come home to me now?
We’ll stay together, somehow.
I’ll never ever let you go.
Into another girl’s arms you know.
I have love for you in my heart.
Why did you break it? Break my heart.

It’s been so long now, it’s true.
My heart has just broken in two.
Each part beating strong alone.
One wants you now, the other roams.
I did have love for you in my heart.
Now I’m not sure as it’s apart

Why did I love you with all my heart?
Why did you break it? Break my heart.
Why did you break it?
 Break my
heart...
I seem to have messed up the first rendering of this song/poem appeared as >< with nothing between. So I resubmitted this , instead of editing the original. Seems the poem has jumped into the vacant space as well. Oops. <
