There was a thought... and I didn't pay much heed to it,
Fluttering around.. I couldn't see the need in it...
Until it flew off towards your skies.
And it taught me so much that I wasn't aware,
It showed me the things that are valued and rare,
And it's love came to a rest in your eyes...
If I can focus, I can will it be true,
Despite all the past and the battered and blue,
I need only trust to align...
So help me as much as you are able to do,
Cause me to feel what I once could renew,
