Removing
From impressing's waste of care
as soul's determining's compare
I wander not from your aware
as faith does wait upon its where.
I wait to know God's reasoning's share
in thy behalf, removes the spare ~
contingent on regret and stare
that break-in of sincere affair.
Removes love's grace and hope's declare
that busybody of trust's bear,
that harps on efforts not its fare
to turn some mind to victim's lair.
I pray, remove this hurtful tear
that opens wounds before not there.
And of thy love enclose ~ impair
gentry's removal by ill-scare!
