Love Poem: Reminiscence

Reminiscence

Are you ever reminded when the sun rises
Of the times we unfolded from each others arms
To meet yet another tomorrow ?
Does it ever make you remember
When it retires to the western bed
Of yet another time to cuddle ?

Do you ever see the rains
Falling from the skies when the seasons come
Then remember me?
Well I do, it gives me a rinse in the heart
Reminds me of planting a season
When you planted your seed of love in me.

Do you ever feel the wind
Blowing in the trees as leaves choir ?
It reminds me of the little whispers you gave to me
Assurances of love everlasting........
The wind from your lips
Warm when lips met to kiss.

Do rivers ever speak to you
When they journey from the heights ?
Do you ever get the free feeling
Choosing its natural course as it meanders ?
It comes to me
Life and love must be liberal.

Do you still watch the moon and the stars
And listen to the stillness and quiet of the night ?
To me the myriad of stars reminds me of abundance
The many little things we shared
When you and I were lovers
In a relationship calmed by solitude.

It all visits the mind
Speaking with a low voice
Where me and my habitat interact.
God's love
My love
your love.............
