Love Poem: Remembering Romance

Remembering Romance

Your white Monroe dress blew out my car door,
leading lonely brows to trace the cold floor
Your timid teeth hid in tight luscious lips
I knew I had to end your smile eclipse!

a Quiet corner collected our thoughts
Slowly words started undoing love knots
Hearts whole in harmony and void of bleeds
Lifelong wants then became desperate needs

Soft tones held my name in your amber mouth
Heaven’s rainbows shone when your eyes left south
The sun broke through when your voice birthed my name
My life was never ever quite the same!

Our two lost lonely halves now reconciled
We could see our love grow into our child
