Love Poem: Relief

Relief

Here I sit
In a fixed position
I once stood
Held your hand
And did all that I could
All that you would allow
Yet some how
Still you managed
To take a final bow
And though these days
May not look to receive me
Tell me why
Your god seems not to love me
In search for someone else
To think better of me
In my worst ways
This letter scrubs my pain
Who’s there to love me
In these latter days
Of fallen reign

Days don’t comfort
These years they seldom hurt me
I’m lost within my burdened worth, see
Life just does not love me

Amongst this discussion
My panel be
Realistically
In this world
With no family
Each day that passes
A new dawn to handle ease
Touch this phantom, please
The same given hand
That once took
A coward from his knees
I was there for you
Why are you not here for me
Visions
Further than any one spectator seas
I am as withered as dry leaves
On fallen eves
The weight on your shoulders
Equals the tears amongst your sleeves

Days don’t comfort
These years they seldom hurt me
I’m lost within my burdened worth, see
Life just does not love me
