Relationship
she has a
bruised and beaten ego
with a broke and tattered heart
she trys to let him in
but he makes it fall apart
he adds wounds
she adds scars
to their
confused and liveless start
he has a
fear that life will end today
he was injured in the fight
for the USA
Freedom
she is his freedom
as she starts to sing
she brings glory
and she lets it ring
They have the
mind set, that "I'm not enough,"
So she crys and he hides
the pain away
Today
today was the day
the day that
they said I do
She wore a smile
he worn the blue
they became one
under his name
They brake each other
down everyday
and he says
"I'm over it."
as she starts to cry again
"You never listen,
do you even care
why in the world
did I ever come here?"
He suddenly takes her hand
and says
"I love you with every beat of my heart
and so what if we have a rocky start
my mind is full of wasted space
your the part of me that makes
everything fall into place."
