Reflections From Above
A gentle trembling,
Deep within – where I feel Him,
His presence, my friend…
Lighting the spirit,
Lingering in the heart,
Reflecting the joy,
Assuring each thought…
He is ever alive, ever survives,
The doubts and the fears,
All the lies from the enemy,
Lies of worrying that reveal…
A heart who needs Him,
A heart who believes Him,
A heart who agrees with Him…
Life is so short and, deep in our souls,
If we don’t know the One,
The One who created us to love,
The One who abides with us, in love,
The One who decides for us, to love,
The One who defines us – as His loves.
If we don’t know Him, the One
Who makes a way through the darkest storm,
Who silences the fears and wipes away all tears,
Who reminds us that we’re His – His children,
The reasons that He’s given us a second chance,
A second chance to become…
The children He meant, not for this world,
But for heaven above,
Where we’re filled with a love,
That only He could have stirred up,
Love that is the wonder – the light, the gift
From the One who made us His,
With His amazing grace, His gift of faith…
Forever, lead the way….
I will promise. I will pray… I am His,
The One who stays,
When everyone else goes away,
The One who amazes.
The One my soul praises.
He is my world – He is my hope.
He is the One who silences all doubt.
He is the One who assures me…
Life is not about me –
Life is about reflecting His light,
The light of love…
The light from above,
The light that shines on… even when we’ve gone on.
