Love Poem: Raindrops

Raindrops

Standing by my window,
I smile as I watch the rain pour away
One two three
Black drops in a black endless night
So beautiful this merry song
Standing by my window
Watching the black drops pour away
Away to some unknown destination
And then you pop up
In my smiling mind
And I feel the familiar warmth of you
Slowly creeping up
Enveloping me in a warm loving hug
And I stand by the window
Watching the rain pour away its black drops
One two and three,
Countless memories of you fill up
The void in my heart
The empty space in my arms
And I hug them
Next to the rain
Next to the pouring black drops
Hug those bittersweet, sweet and
Scented memories of you to
My heart
And smile in contentment
One two and three
Away they go
The black black drops
One two and three
Here they come
Rushing, flooding my heart with your warmth
Filling me with a genuine
Tearful happiness
Those wonderful sweet memories
And I move away from the window
Away from the pouring black drops
And embrace the marvelous sight of you
In my mind
In my heart.
