Love Poem: Rage

Rage

Her hand is warmth to me
Silver television screen
Wave around a loaded gun
Temper, temper little one
Is it me you love again?
Guess I never had a fan

You were never in a dream
Cripple me in summer heat
Though I try to make the scene
I will always want to bleed
If I'm me you'll never know
Empathy will fall below

Rage

They’re another point of view
Remember me when I was you
My miracle was mortal sin
Inside the moment, and all it’s been

Always see another me
When it’s done, never free
I’ll forget that I am dead
But nothing that you ever said
Just another opiate
The day was boring, anyway

Rage
