Put Your Mind Away
Woke up this morning my first try;
Only yesterday things felt hard.
Now won't you tell me all of the things,
As strange as they may be;
That put your mind so far away.
Sounds filter in and out,
But my focus remains so strong.
So off with you, those with words of doubt,
That speak so many wrongs.

Safe here in my security,
From the demons of the land.
They scratch so desperately at my door;
