Proud Star of Bethlehem
As darkness fell that holy night
And people slept so unaware
From Heaven shone a wondrous light
That fell upon a manger there

Yet only seen by just a few
A matchless light of radiance fair
A Father's love glows brightly there
The light of Christ still shines today
For those who seek to know His way
Oh wondrous gift that we may see
The light of God's eternity
One day on distant Heaven's shore
We'll thrill to what we have in store
A city bright with Heaven's light
A perfect homeland evermore
No darkness there, nor can there be
For this is God's eternity
Where beauty reigns and Christ is King
