Poem and Image of Pangie and Donnie, Who Wrote Her First Love Song
Decades and yet more decades have taken a most hurried flight.
People born, people passed, yet that love song you wrote
hums in my twinkling soul in the midst of many indigo nights.
We both were only aged twelve,
But to my friends here at Poetry Soup, I have decided this to
divulge.
Imagine Pangie in dark brown braids, and Donnie, at 12.
A quite accomplished piano player and composer!
He sat down at his piano and these are very words to his
blushing Pangie girl!

I know a girl as sweet as can be,
And I would like to make her mine.
She may not be the prettiest girl,
But still I love her all of the time.
She has a favorite habit,
And it's rolling her eyes at me.
But, I will keep hanging around,
Because that is my Pangie!
I always dream of her and me,
And that's my favorite story now.
Because someday, my dreams will come true!
And Pangie will be mine all mine!
