Plea To Me
Now that I have lost so much
I can finally learn who I am
For it is the Darkness around me
That makes me more of a man
I grew so tired
Of wishing I was more like I'm not
Just one day of happiness
Is all that I sought
I walked through my life
With weights on my shoulders
My lachrymose world
Only in the eyes of me, the solemn beholder
So on this day
I commit to myself
It is I who will make this better
