Play This Game

What it means when I say love,
What it means when I say trust,
What I meant when I cried,
All the tears,
All your lies.

You said that's you'd be there,
Through the thick and through the thin,
The through the big and through the small,
You'd be with me through the fall.

But I know now you didn't mean it,
What you said you'd never desert me,
Now I thin about it because you said you'd love me,
Through and through.

Now sometimes I wonder if you ever really loved me,
Take my love,
Multiply it by infinity,
Take it to the depths of forever,
And you'd only get a glimpse of what I feel for you.

And when I say I love somebody,
Yes, I mean it,
I've been hurt,
And I have.

And I don't want to be hurt,
I don't want to feel the pain,
If all you can do is hurt,
Please don't play this game.
