Play Me a Teardrop

Play me a teardrop, that sits atop my heart strings. One to make the Angels weep, a vigil to my soul. Strum me sad chords, that affords my mournful cry, to spill upon your memory, still within my mind. Choose the notes carefully, as floats petals on the wind. To land softer, than the whisper of your breath. Keep slow, the tempo and low the expectations, I don't know how to say goodbye, so play me a teardrop.
