For what I was pissed by
I do not know
Or care for that matter
The Dare
More of a challenge really
testing your pride & confidence
At that moment I spoke of the Dare
I had no position in the outcome
ending here or there
Accepted
proving pride and confidence
ending over there
Minutes passed
Nothing really to remember
for years and years
Slowly through the seconds
so gradually
as if the sun had rose
there was sunshine
shining over my skin
a new warmth and comfort had come over me
In that moment
it was cemented in me
only to fade away 6 feet under ground
ever so...ever so...slowly
