Pilgrim's Paradox

We once did walk amongst the leaves;
Outside of Eden, Adam grieves.

I am thrice Holy, keep away;
Unclean sinners I yearn to save.

To keep My law cannot be done;
Because of love, I send My Son.

You are guilty, you must die;
I crush Myself to draw you nigh.

You grieve and sigh, for you are wrong;
Flee to My bosom, where you belong.

I have the victory and battle won;
My soldier, fight with armor on.

In trials you will be maligned;
Be glad; you are like gold refined.

You cannot boast of wealth or fame;
You boast the glories of My name.

My dearest, in this life you mourn;
You will be to My presence borne.

My son, the truth will set you free;
Take up your cross and follow Me.
