Love Poem: Pick a Pen and Pen Her

Pick a Pen and Pen Her

Pick a pen and pen her
That piece of African so curved
With angles, triangles and cubes
Whispering “no mistake, no mistake”

Pick a chair and sit with her
The sparkling eyes glowing as fire
Shoot their ways into helpless men
The men whose hearts can’t resist attack

Pick an apple and offer her
That piece shall enjoy sweet bites
And apple mimes, “bite me more, more”
Get me more tickling bites of your teeth

Pick courage and eye her without waver
Shapely her nose and ears and mouth are
Each with twinkling waves of perfection
Telling myriad tales in the hearts of men

Pick silence and listen to her interior
The kindly loving calmness lie waiting
Talking with no talk, looking with no eye
Provoking, perplexing, puzzling eyeless eyes

Such is the nature of Cynthia, rare piece of African

Dedicated to all ladies called Cynthia living in the cradle land of humanity
