Love Poem: Perfidia In Blank

Perfidia In Blank

Just another love poem
jotted so arrogantly down on page
blotted ink and emotional stink
recorded wastefully for my age

I could go on about you
your grace, face, all of the above-- and below
but would these words be true
or callous inventions with lewd intentions
to make you blush and glow

oh sure, romance and dance
unjust lust and gypsy wine
coil your heart around my words
and we'll get along just fine

Brazen? Arrogant? Yes, that would be me
cast upon my rocks and shore, adore my reverie
they're just love poem words
Their emptiness would fill the sea.
