Love Poem: Penguin

Well and somewhere up there you call those snow covered mountains your home.
But now after all these years where is the reasons for you coming here?
What's been said has been said and what's been done has been done...
But then again maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe the love that once was so strong isn't yet dead and gone.
I try to keep a hold of my senses and my dignity but you have a way of always getting the best of me.
I say to myself God help me to understand why I keep letting eyes of trouble have the upper hand.
The ties that bind keeps us frozen in time as the years just go on and on somewhat shadowed between dusk and dawn.
But putting myself in your place I see just how delicate you really are now, taking refuge in my arms again you think that will save you someway somehow.
Dark up on top of light I can't help but to breath deep the dreams you dream, I can't help but to sing the songs of fear and loathing you profoundly write.
Putting myself in your place I see just how fragile you really are now.
God help me but I guess I still love you, although I know you're bound again and again to break my heart into.
But the ties that binds keeps us frozen in time as the years just go on and on as they have for so long ever shadowed somewhere between dusk and dawn.
