Love Poem: Passing Years

Passing Years

Twas many, many years ago
That we betrothed our love
A union for the two of us
Sent forth by God above

We are no longer young in years
We've wrinkled some with age
But love endures, yes love sustains
With each timeless turning page

Love is something you cannot touch
No matter age or season
What causes enduring love to last
There is no rhyme or reason

Perhaps we see each other
As we were from years ago
God's love or us has caused our love
To thrive and continually grow

God's love for us is timeless
A thing that time can't touch
And still we utter to each other
I still love you very much

Although our hair is tinged with grey
And wrinkles line our face
God's love for us is steadfast
With His enduring grace!
