Love Poem: Party

Party

I'm throwing you a party, you won't believe your eyes,
the guests i've chosen...it's a surprise,
at first some of them you may not recognize,
but after a while I'll adjust your eyes,
the neighbor that lived down the street from years ago,
that advised you how to plant seed to help your garden grow,
the man in the grocery store that let you ahead of him in line,
because he saw you were in a hurry while he had time,
the stranger that saw you stranded on the side of the road,
that stopped to help change your tire, so you could get up n go,
the girl that gave you a picture of a rainbow in the sky,
not knowing at that moment how your heart was hurting inside,
the old man who encouraged you to keep on singing,
not knowing one day your form of worship would be changing,
the people that gave each small step,
are the ones beyond your knowlegde that gave you the best,
but you say i don't know them, but really you do,
sometimes more than the people you thought you knew.
