Love Poem: Parts of You

Parts of You

You step into a room, one foot
stalking the other,
perfectly.
you walk in all
directions with reason.
you're feet led---I wander blindly through the weight of the day
heavy
to find you and tell you
"I need you."

You have fiery eyes that dissolve
everything around them
leaving ash
leaving want
leaving a precise hunger
absolute in its form:
Two eyes, Two Moons
you hold in your possession.
I have been redefined here,
I have made my home here,
in your presence.

Your lips are full. I crave to put
my Hot mouth on them.
they are firm like oak.
soft as the petal of the orchid.
your lips are full of energy that
drives me to addiction---intensely---like day break---high
noon---high, I devour a silent
promise
track-marked by infinity.

You're voice is classical---a
masterpiece written in the depths
of the ocean, rising to crash into the thin air that I
swallow.
I swallow you
downward
through my September.
through its subtle silence.
your voice reaches my heart
like the Daughter of the Sky
"speak to me!"

Your hair is made of the strands of sand the vast deserts hold. It falls
softly,
through my fingers
burning my imprints.
pulled and tangled your hair
was washed with the root
of a rose and transformed
into a field of petals
without purpose, other than
leaving the aroma of
tranquility behind.

Your skin falls over my body
like
light
like
darkness
a noticeable weightlessness.
I begin and end with the texture
of your
skin.
I want to push myself
through you
so that I know what I am
touching
so that I know what I want to
feel.
