Partners In the Sun

Blazing and dancing eyes as you made me look foolish.

And my tongue betrayed me as my voice went in its own direction.

In the choir I was told when wrong keep singing.

My thoughts linger there still but the tongue is slow to move as before.

We gather there once a year to celebrate the closeness.

Its cold at that time of year but your loveliness warms me.

I wrap those memories around me to keep out the front .

When I go there now it is summer and the beach is clean and reminds.
