Paradise
i swim in the pools of your eyes
lost in depths, a cascading thought
stumbles through mind in misted cries
wondering could your heart be sought?
i've tumbled once on rocks of past
drowning in the depths, my heart sank
its echo, a thunderous blast
left me jaded, a soulless blank
my heart pounds fast, my mind thinks twice
wondering is love what it seems
is in you found true paradise
or oasis of lusted dreams?
i stand in this moment aglow
lost within the depths of your eyes
lured in the thrust of your shadow
i surrender in breathless sighs
