Pandora's Box

Pandora’s Box

Found and lost
The complicated cost
To open the box
Of Pandora
But dreams are inside
Now the lid is open wide
Spring sprung like a trap
Between a heart and a hard place

Everything all at once
Nothing all the same
Barriers between the seas and skies
The space between our hues of blues
The surface tension of our eyes
Breaking crests and furrows
Making breezes and tornados
In the heart of our homeland

I may bring clouds into your skies
And you May bring waves into my seas
But that’s the beauty of compromise
Two navigate the cycle of wants and needs

One more sister without a brother
One more father without a mother
One is less without the other
Won for all, four, one suther
