Love Poem: Over, Past the Sky

Over, Past the Sky

Take me over the overpass
So I can look over and feel the vast dark sky touching my eyes.
The feeling of flying is overwhelming.
I wish to jump and soar away to the edge of the sky.
Here you and I can die into space and extinguish the trace of fear.
Picture perfect images of you and I as we touch the lips that kill, we die.
So we've died.
By the hand of another love quit forever.
Pour into my soul light, so ever bold from a distance.
Melt the way the time of day away from me shes been to let love spend existence.
But don't ask why this magnificence is boiling and coiling around the day.
Avert your eyes but feel the pain in beauty slowly again killing you and me.
Like a leaf off of falls tree, we descend back to hell calling.
Died and died again and we're back where we began under the overpass.
The saddest feeling filling our being slowly sinking us to the grass forever to
dream gorgeous thoughts of the overpass.
