Love Poem: Outside It Rains

Outside It Rains

Your hair is moistened
from mist of rain
Your feet nudges mine

Outside it rains
air and water dance
Upon the roof like wings beating

Love me as you love the rain
sing to me softly
as you sing to the rain

Sing to me with a moist kiss
for yours is the face of night
in your eyes lies unhurried lightning

Together we shiver and burn
Compelled by your fingers of flame
waves of water surge your breath

Love me closely as the rain pours
each droplet sings a far away message
announcing the night as it arrives in our bed

Enter falling footsteps of the rain
footsteps of water that dampens your eyes
lips of water that caress my forehead

We lay drenched and burning with fever
The rain speaks softly like the wings of endless bats
no-one but us is going to listen but us...
