Out of This World

11/22/20

In and out of this world
I'd buy her more than diamonds, pearls
And ice cream with swirls

Work hard to get it, no matter the likelihood
Girl, let's get one thing understood
For you, I really would, make sure no other could
Cause harm, or need for alarm
I want you to be happy and see you doing good
As you should

You really deserve it and earned it
There's 2 million ways to word this
If one thing is certain
It's when I met you in person
That time I spent with you, I would never reverse it
Despite all my blessings and curses
Girl, I'd like to do much more than a service
I'll support you and surprise you on a daily occurrence
Staying determined and living life with purpose
Otherwise what's the point? Then it's all worthless

I am who I am
On a piece of land
As a man
I offer you my hand
No other demands
Let's set some plans
And follow through when we can
If it doesn't work out, I understand
I'd be lying, if I said it didn't make me feel sad
And
Like I keep on getting damned
Oh well too bad
I'm still here, and for that I'm glad

However long it takes
I'm willing to wait
For real love, nothing fake
Honesty, commitment and faith
I can really appreciate
True beauty
And I'm willing to do my duty
Most of these people are too fruity
I will truly love you duly

A rise and drop in RPM
Pulling up to the ATM
At 2 PM and 4 AM
In a world full of havoc and mayhem

Jen you really are a gem
I want to be your man, not just a friend
Instead of things coming to an end
Because that would just be yet again
Heartbreak, who am I to pretend
