Our Picture Torn

I've found something new, to get me by.
I forever loved you, but I was left to cry.
I take her hand, and walk away.
Together we'll stand, to love another day.
Moving together, in this precise dance.
We'll love forever, finally a joyous chance.
She will help me, survive here.
Now I see, I'll not fall a tear.
So many memories, we have made.
Now she sees, your love did fade.
She and I, will fight on.
With just a goodbye, you are gone.
We've become far apart, for this love.
She now takes my heart, as we rise above.
You've lost your way, with our picture torn.
You cannot stay, now is it I you scorn?
I kiss her lips, and grasp for her heart.
The bloodied blade slips, as our lives start.
Can you dare, look me in the eye?
This I swear, is the reason I'll die.
Your hands so cold, without mine.
Where's your heart to hold, will you be fine?
I take her hands, and we'll fly away.
You're the one who stands, alone today.
Like me, she has been pushed down.
Now they will see, we'll no longer drown.
You should give a thought, to what was said.
You won as we fought, as I was left for dead.
I won't be home tonight, for I solemnly cry.
She and I win the fight, this bond will never die.
You've shown me the light, I've shown you the stars.
I don't think you're right, as she kisses my scars.
I just want to know why, you said your goodbye...
