Love Poem: Our Mothers

Our Mothers

They think we don't appreciate, but we really do.
They think that we want something when we say, "Mom, I love you."
They think we're inconsiderate, but we're really not.
But what they don't know is that they are all we got.
When the so called loves of our lives turn their backs on us,
They are there to comfort, they are not there to fuss.
When we yell and scream and cuss and fuss yelling that we don't care,
Deep inside our mothers cry but we know they'll still be there.
Early thirties mid forties, it really doesn't matter to me.
I know I am my mother's princess and she is my motherly queen.
So in the end I tell you this don't ever turn to others.
There is no love in a friend that we can't find in our mothers.
