Our Lord
In His word He says to listen
to be watchful and aware
so the you would know Him
should He be standing there
Now would you recognize Him
midst a dark and stormy cloud
or hear Him if He whispered
or even spoke to you aloud
Could you see Him in a derelict
look past His tattered clothes
and see His robe and sandals
now think dear child,suppose
How He appeared to Israel
to the leaders of His day
If He stood like that before you
would you turn and walk away
How many times through history
midst trials pain and tears
has He stood before His children
through the centuries and years
Now seek for you shall find Him
He's right where all can see
for He dwells in precious vessels
that look like you and me!
