Love Poem: Our Dance

Our Dance

I'll dance in repetitive circles

spinning carelessly in my teal dress of tears.

I have never been able to escape this pain for a few long years.

But with the violin drifting in the air

I'll dance by myself holding on to no-one and nothing but choice.

I'll dance on and on in the silence unitl I realize I have lost my own voice.

I'll stop, cry

wipe them to the floor

And just sway in dancing rhythem some more.

Night will tarnish the sky but the moon will loom

I will take no notice until you're presence enters silently into the room.

I'll glance over your way with crimson escaping my face.

So you do not notice my hesitance of your being i'll concentrate on keeping my own
distant pace.

You will sweep across the room regardless until you have reach my side

where I will take your outstretched hand, and on we shall glide.

Moving in sync, holding this moment until the very end.

I'll smile a shy smile affraid of what my heart may send to my lips.

You have hands of warmth, strong and careful

You have balance and control over this dance that was once my own.

With you here like this i am reminded of what it feels like to not be alone.

Swept by a love song played smoothly across the piano and violin

I will move closer to your heart, I will trace the outline of your face with my eyes

Dancing like this makes me want to hide my heart in a better disguise.

But I can't because you show me what love feels like without uttering a single word

Not one syllable nor vowel is heard.

You show me passion with a look, you hold me not with you're arms but rather your
heart.

I'm affraid I could never let this or you go.. Trust me we will never depart...
