Love Poem: Our Battle

Our Battle

This battle is between you and me, Love
You do destroy me with your disinterested pretence
Yet, you do disintegrate me with your sweet smile,
With the way your eyes twinkle at me,
The way your face lights up when you see me,
Even with the desire burning all over you,
The desire you repress and try to hide
As if, you thought I would not notice it!

This battle is meant to be won,
By me, yes, I shall succumb to you
I shall let you win,
But that shall make not a loser,
As my guides, acting from the skies,
Are with me, driving my actions, my thoughts,
My dreams, my yearnings and both of our fates!

This battle shall end, only in a bed,
When breathless and post orgasmic
I shall tell you of the secrets behind everything,
Of how I let you win, and of what lies ahead for our souls,
As they have been whispered to me by those guides from the skies!
