I wish things were different
I wish things made sense
I wish we could be together
without having distance as the consequence
If only the time we shared
would last forever
If only life could stop
so us being apart would be never
But things aren't different
Things don't make sense,
and the distance is the biggest consequence.
Forever doesn't last, and never becomes always.
