Love Poem: Opinionated Eyes

Opinionated Eyes

Why do you look at me with opinionated eyes,
It makes me feel oh so so small in size.
Your judgements are cruel and rude can’t you see,
When really they are more about you and not me.
When you notice something you dislike in another,
Think of them as a new baby fresh from their mother.
We are all equal divine spiritual beings,
God will still love you despite all these things.
Look for the good in people not for the bad,
Otherwise you are doomed to be eternally sad.
Please don’t judge me on the color of my face,
Cuz really we all belong to the same human race.
We can choose love or we can choose hate,
The consequences of choice determine you fate.
