One For Me

Why couldn’t I see it? Why lie to myself that you weren’t the one I loved? I chose to fly alone, how could I reach the heights without my other wing? Miles away I learnt you were my life, my dream, my air, my potency. My heart jogged everyday in a broken road, thinking it will be fit for another placement, but instead it cried for you, called you in tattered shape, brawled me for you the other piece. Throughout the boulevard, flashes of you rode with me, my every cell twinge for you. I needed my life, I needed my dream, and I needed the one for me. I couldn’t let my dream escape, my life was empty. I needed to give it up, be saved from the death of emptiness. I desperately needed you, the one created for me, and here I lay in your warm embraces living my dream
