Love Poem: On Whispers and Breaths of Hope

On Whispers and Breaths of Hope

Your breath a melody wanders high,
Lose myself in the weight of its rhythm,
These patterns land on high notes,
Even the lows, despite their depth,
Have their moments of splendor,
Like walking in dark, search for sliver of light,
Whispers craft more than beauty on air,
Soft words, though physical, offer calm,
If love is but a minor passing thought,
Then at least allow it to find the time,
To have meaning, spirit, and purpose,
The tomb around us may be stale and old,
Still the heckling beckons us to quiet,
But in carefree glimpses of timeless wake,
We can find the peace to grant contentment,
Or even in sleep with visions left to linger,
Entwined in realms mirrored with similarity,
For our hearts are one among the same,
On breaths taken in unison as entity sole,
Together there is always incredible hope.
