On the Verge

"The Eternal Word" Always on the verge Of Christmas/ Heaven Contemplations merge From Eternal Father-- "Timelessly shining" To our souls-- Divinely "Be Mine!"-ing Before the Beginning Father/ Spirit/ Son An Eternal Family Our Blessed Mother won
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Inspired by: 1. E.W.T.N. (The Eternal Word Television Network), and 2. the Oblates of the Virgin Mary fathers' Marian Consecration essays, & 3. CRADLE OF REDEEMING LOVE (THE THEOLOGY OF THE CHRISTMAS MYSTERY) by John Saward, 2002. pg. 134-135: "Eternal Generation. The begetting of the Father's Son and Word is eternal, that is, altogether free of succession, without before or after, beginning or end. The Byzantine Church expresses the dogmatic truth in words that match metaphysical precision with poetical beauty: 'The Virgin draws nigh to bear Thee, O Lord, Who, shining timelessly from the Father, hast now come to be in time, setting us loose from the temporal passions of our souls.' ("The Forefeast of the Nativity" Menaion, pg. 211). The Word is the co-eternal Son of the Eternal Father. Whenever the Father was, the Son was. ... Since the Father is always the Father, the Father is never without the Son. ... Fatherhood... is not a relation into which the Father enters, but the relation by which the Father exists. ... [Jesus] is eternal Child because He receives everlastingly the whole of the divine essence, all that He is, from the Father."
