Love Poem: On Her Birthday

On Her Birthday

A single rose adorns her grave.
Bright yellow is it's hue.
T'was put there by her husband.
In, remembrance of love so true

Thru our many years together.
Now, the few we've been apart.
Strums unbelievable music
On the strings of my broken heart.

The music heard within his head.
Is often sad but true.
The mutual love and happiness gone,
We often shared as two

Now plays repeated love songs
Thru a dark and stormy sky.
The oft repeated "time will heal".
Is nothing but a lie.

I often struggle missing her.
And think, "How cruel is life!"
Replace my love? How ludicrous.
I married Her for Life!
