Old Dogs
My heart is full of heartache, and pain,
I wish yours could feel the same.
You go on with your everyday life,
while mine has crumbled, nothing is right.
Maybe I was foolish, to love you so,
I believed in you, how was I to know.
I am not ready to forget how love feels,
someone out there will find me, I know they will.
I will let you go, so you can be with someone new,
but Old Dogs don't change, and she will find this out too.
