Love Poem: Of Infinity

Of Infinity

"Of infinity the sky and all the stars; the ocean and all the crashing waves; nature and all it encompasses; and my eternal boundless love, grief and tears. " by _Constance _________________________ Of infinity is the night sky and all the stars, that twinkle and shine quietly and vast; I wish to collect a few and keep them in jars, the endless lights of the night always steadfast ! Of infinity are oceans and crashing waves, undulating, swirling, ebbing, flowing; and upon ceaseless ocean waves are ash thrown graves, the perpetual waves are never slowing ! Of infinity is nature's timeless essence, fish, birds, creatures, trees, fauna, flowers; I find my tranquility in the quiescence, in the sun, wind, snowflakes and rain showers ! Of infinity is my deep love, grief and tears, my love lost everlasting and evermore; my immense grief a dark cloak I have worn for years, and in waters infinite my tears pour ! Of infinity is the night sky and all the stars, Of infinity are oceans and crashing waves; Of infinity is nature's timeless essence, Of infinity is my deep love, grief and tears ! ______________________ November 6, 2021 Poetry/Rhyme/Of Infinity Copyright Protected, ID 11-1405-020-06 All Rights Reserved, 2021, Constance La France Theme and Title chosen - Of Infinity Written for the Standard contest, This or That, Vol. 8 sponsor, Edward Ibeh, Judged 12/5/2021 First Place
