Now My Wings Can Soar In the Sky

From dust of broken dreams I rise, hear my heart how sadly it cries, but the songbird in me won't die, now my wings can soar in the sky. I was captive in yearning cage, your deception gave me courage, won’t let freedom wind pass me by, now my wings can soar in the sky. I feel soft touch of fresh south wind, wafting silver-lined clouds in mind, to reach new heights of bliss I’ll try, now my wings can soar in the sky. After the rain storm drains my eyes, I see the hues of rainbow rise, luring me to leave nest and fly, now my wings can soar in the sky.
