Some day’s I wander,
Betwixt the present and subliminal,
With the notion that I am nothing; but then God,
Whispers away the anxiety crowding my space,
Making it easier to believe that I am everything,
And “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.”*
* Philippians 4:13 KJV
I didn’t wield the hammer, drive the spikes, or feel God’s loss,
And yet today, I feel in part responsible, for Jesus being on the cross.
