Nothing gold can stay
Futile is pursuit of desire
If we allow ego to have its way
We will be led to consequences dire
That that comes and goes is unreal
Let’s look for bliss that’s unending
Feeling love’s boundless appeal
Flame of our heart defending
Nothing gold can stay
Unless our heart be pure
Then bliss beats hold sway
And life trials are easy to endure
Love pheromones pervade the air
Bliss replete, we feel complete
Soul’s awareness self-aware
Bows to God’s lotus feet
