Love Poem: Not Me

Not Me

I feel like my heart is being ripped apart.
So many memories I can’t erase.
How to forget his face!
I need out of this place.
This is somewhere I don’t want to be.
I want to be someone other than me.
Look at me!
What do you see?
I’m heart brake and misery.
Not to worry!
He broke free.
He left me cold!
In a sad story to often told.
I’m on the edge with out a thing to grab hold.
When it comes to love I fold.
This is not what I want to be.
This is killing me.
He’s looking for something that’s not me.
