Love Poem: Nostalgic Love

Nostalgic Love

Chrysanthemums bloom, heralding in fall,
Pumpkins bring delight to one and all.

The air is filled with fragrances so sweet.
Colors of the leaves an artist’s treat.

Memories of walks along cool lanes,
Weather maps show paths of hurricanes.

Snuggles in the park watching a game.
Hand in hand, each yesterday, the same.

Squelching summer heat will soon be quenched.
Autumn breezes in my heart entrenched.

Chilling winter sneezes, wearing gloves.
Nostalgic love: fall and turtledoves.
