No Reason Left (To Fight)

This is my last goodbye, I feel life's release.
This is my time to die, you scream, "Don't go please..."
I'm holding onto you, to keep from stumbling.
I can't make it through, without me crumbling.
There is nothing left of me, not any more.
But now I can see, I left your heart so sore.
No reason left to fight, my eyes closing now.
My last night, I take my final bow.
"How could you leave?", you asked my grave.
I just couldn't believe, there was nothing that could save.
I know your listening, to my final call.
The tears around your eyes are glistening, as you tried to catch my fall.
I know that you have cried, one thousand tears tonight.
All because love died, there was no reason left to fight.
Your cries aren't in vain, I finally understand.
Even though you feel pain, you have to stand.
I was betrayed, by such a game.
Life's been played, what a shame.
Everything was for you, now it's our time.
Now that I'm through, it makes sense, rhyme after rhyme.
By now the end has past, I don't feel misery.
The memories will forever last, of you and me.
You should no longer cry, yet there is no reason left to fight.
How did the love die?, forever was always in sight...
