Love Poem: Nightbound Memories

Nightbound Memories

Not even the sweet tears of rain,
Can vanquish the dreadful sting,
Of my lost moonstone ring!
Ah, 'twas my heart's pain.

My happiness I tried to regain.
By going on a shopping bling.
Alas, a most unproductive thing.
I had found nothing to gain.

Only dreams of her eloquent beauty, doth remain.
I hear her melodious sounds still sing.
Her colors, still to me, utterly dazzling.
Gone, so long, so beautiful, but from mundane.
